Following the issuance of Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Regulation No. 13 of 2020 concerning Standards and Certification for Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability of Venues and Supporting Facilities for Tourism Activities, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, has issued certification regulations regarding Standards and Certification for Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability of Venues and Supporting Facilities for Tourism Activities through the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 9042:2021.
Every tourism business is expected to meet SNI requirements and obtain a CHSE Certificate.
