The Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has issued mandatory certification regulations for Hotel Businesses. Through the Regulation of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM.53/HM.001/MPEK/2013 concerning Hotel Business Standards which was amended through the Regulation of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2014 and Regulation of the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2019, every hotel business is required to meet the requirements of Hotel Business Standards and have a Hotel Business Certificate.
